Ekaterina is a Russian born artist that now lives and works in New Jersey. She puts her heart and soul into her work to create stunning pieces full of gorgeous little details that capture your eyes and heart instantly.

Her original works have been featured in numerous art galleries and museums around the world, including the New York Museum of Contemporary Art. Her designs are also highly sought after in private collections.

Ekaterina's original abstracts are created using a skillful combination of applying and removing oil paint with a palette knife on canvas which creates a 3D-look effect. Her artwork certainly stands out from the crowd.

Her inspirations are the majestic skyscrapers of the big cities such as Manhattan, Philadelphia, and Chicago. She creates urban scenic views that are rich with vivid and textured layers, radiating both romance and positive energy. Central to a lot of her pieces are also tiny little people, often holding umbrellas, going about their daily lives in the big city. A lovely feature to her work that creates connection between the viewer and the piece of art.
